CBSE Opens Marks Uploading Portal for International Schools

New Delhi, April, 2026 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the online marks uploading portal for Class 12 students studying in its affiliated international schools, particularly those in West Asian countries. The portal opened today and will remain active until April 17, 2026, enabling schools to submit internal assessment marks following the cancellation of physical board examinations in the region due to geopolitical tensions.

In an official notification, CBSE directed principals of affected schools in countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran to upload marks through the dedicated platform accessible via their school login credentials at cbseit.in. The board has emphasised strict adherence to guidelines outlined in its earlier Notification-2 dated March 27, 2026, which detailed the alternative assessment scheme based on internal evaluations, previous performance, and school-level tests.

CBSE has made it clear that once marks are uploaded and submitted, no corrections or modifications will be permitted. Schools must ensure accuracy in data entry to avoid discrepancies during result processing. The board has also coordinated with Indian embassies and consulates in West Asia to facilitate smooth implementation and address any queries from school authorities.

This special arrangement aims to ensure that students in conflict-affected regions do not lose an academic year. The uploaded marks will form the basis for preparing and declaring Class 12 results along with regular candidates. CBSE has assured that the evaluation process will maintain transparency, fairness, and the integrity of the board’s assessment standards.

School principals have been instructed to complete the uploading process within the stipulated window to enable timely result declaration. Detailed instructions and support mechanisms are available on the portal. Students and parents have been advised to stay in touch with their respective schools for updates and not to rely on unverified sources.

The initiative reflects CBSE’s commitment to supporting its international affiliated institutions and ensuring educational continuity for Indian students abroad amid challenging circumstances. Results for these students are expected to be declared in May along with the main Class 12 results.
