Madhya Pradesh Class 8 Results 2026 Declared: 93.83% Pass Rate, Girls Shine, Indore Leads Divisions

Bhopal, March, 2026 – The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) today announced Class 8 results for 2026, recording a stellar 93.83% pass rate – up from 92.5% last year. Over 11.2 lakh students appeared for the exams conducted from February 15 to March 10, with results accessible on mpresults.nic.in since 10:00 AM.

Girls stole the show, achieving 95.2% pass percentage against 92.6% for boys, continuing a four-year trend of gender excellence. Indore division topped with 96.1%, followed by Bhopal at 94.8% and Jabalpur at 93.2%. Rural-urban parity improved, with girls in tribal districts like Dindori crossing 92%.

MPBSE Secretary Gyanendra Singh praised digital interventions: “AI analytics and remedial classes boosted outcomes, especially in Hindi and Math.” Topper Aarav Patel from Indore scored 99.8%, attributing success to “daily mocks and parental support.”

Students can download marksheets via roll number or SMS: “MP08 ROLLNO” to 56263. Revaluation window opens April 5; supplementary exams in June. Amid NEP 2020 shifts, officials eye competency-based reforms for Class 9.
